The dip in the roofline can just be seen where the rear section was welded in to form the station wagon. The roof was so uneven that they had to put a luggage rack on top to hide the unevenness. Well that's my theory.

 From memory, this is station wagon conversion number 74, Ford only started making this model in 1956 and the chassis number shows January 1957.
