The art of Blacksmithing by hand has changed little over the centuries.  However modern equipment and machines has meant much of the wrought iron bought today has lost its  hand forged appeal. Red is one of the few  full time working blacksmiths in New Zealand who maintains traditional ways of working.  He learnt his skills on the West Coast of New Zealand and for the past 5years has worked full time as a blacksmith, using the Nelson Craft Market as his main outlet.   When you buy a product from Red  you can be sure it is hand forged on an anvil using fire to make a unique product that will last generations.
