News

The new book Captain Cook's War and Peace: the Royal Navy years, 1755-1768 is set for publication in the UK in mid-July this year by Seaforth Publishing. The expected selling price is GBP18.99 and you can already preorder copies from online agencies such as Amazon. It will cover Captain James Cook's career in the Royal Navy prior to joining the Endeavour and sailing to the Pacific. My part in the production of the book is nearly over.

I should be able to give some time now to updating these pages but please do let me know of any significent errors or ommissions. I have begun loading entries for all the men who sailed with Cook, even where we know little else than their name.
