New Zealand Zoological Drawings by George Forster

The Naturalists and Artists who travelled on Cook's voyages were responsible for the first written and visual descriptions of the botany and zoology of New Zealand. Among them was George Forster, who, on the second voyage, produced the large fortfolio of drawings listed here.
