A list of notable (and boring) places in the local area.
An old covenant, scattered across several buildings in the Grimsby area. Either the magi there do not get along, or the Dominion is so strng that magical auras are confined to small patches.
The leader of the Covenant is a Criamon named Cryptic. he has a large library, but prefers to trade vis for access to his books.
A friendly covenant located in the fens on the west bank of the River Witham. They capture Ignem vis from the swamp gas, and had arranged a vis trade with Claxby which had been disrupted by the former covenant's disappearance. We have paid our predecessor's debs, and relations are good.
A friendly Covenant, occupied by magi only slightly older than ourselves. They are willing to trade books, vis and even covenfolk.
On our first visit attracted a runaway, a boy claiming to be named "Eric". He turned out to be the apprentice of the Covenant's leader, Cadwallon ex Miscellania, fleeing due to cruel treatment (he was kept on an island in the middle of the bay and told to fend for himself). While sympathetic, the Code is the Code, and we wrote to Cadwallon requesting that he come and collect his errant charge.
There is apprantly a hermit living in the fens near the Witham, but we have not yet conversed with him.
